BERNIE MADOFF FINALLY GETS WHAT HE DESERVES
Text from My Modern Met:The sculpture “What You see Might Not Be Real,” by Chen Wenling, was displayed at a Beijing gallery Sunday. A bull, meant to represent Wall Street, is seen ramming the biggest con man of all time, Bernie Madoff, into a wall. Totally deserving, if you ask me.
The huge cloud coming out of the bull's rear not only refers to the end of a greedy era, but also symbolizes the danger of virtual bubbles in international financial markets. In a society based on desire and money, some people choose to create many false impressions, while others sadly fall for them.
This is pretty amazing dudes.

NYC - THE RUN DOWN
So I just got back from an epic trip to NYC and believe it or not the whole time I was there I was disconnected to the internet. Thus I apologize for the lack of activity on this here blog. This trip must have been one of the most spontaneous decisions I've ever undertaken as I booked my flight one week before flying without knowing if my passport would suffice for the strict US regulations and if I'd be having a place to crash. Long story short, I was able to enjoy one week of amazing hospitality from on of my friends who lived uptown in Harlem. It was awesome to have the streets of Harlem at night being the first sights I had of this amazing city. Not that it was dangerous or I was scared, lets just say the sight of a lost tourist with all his luggage at night is not a common sight. The people were more than helpful to give me directions. I had just a week to enjoy everything the city has to offer and seem pretty proud of myself for getting all the typical tourist stuff done and enjoying some more of the local pastimes. One of those small things I'm more proud of is the fact that I had my first 40oz of Malt Liquor (followed by a few more in the succeeding days) which is not available in Europe. Ever since watching various films set in South Central LA in the nineties, I always wondered what it tasted like and man does it get you where you need to get going.
Apart from that I was able to enjoy all the culture the museums had to offer, insanely tall skyscrapers, the company of the good people that are
With that said. I'm back bitches.
PS: I will try to put some of the photos I took as soon as I get my cameras developed (yes, I still use film).

While other MCs fashioned themselves after outlaws, thugs, or drug dealers, Dumile, whose handle is inspired by the Fantastic Four villain Dr. DOOM, called himself “the Supervillain.” When he raps, he often refers to DOOM in the third person. Other MCs are obsessed with machismo; Dumile is obsessed with “Star Trek” and “Logan's Run.”
When I rediscovered Dumile, in his new guise, I was on the cusp of fatherhood and life-partnership, and considering divorce from the music of my youth. My outlook was that of any Golden Age proponent - I was worn down by the petty beefs between rappers, by the murders of Tupac and Biggie, and by the music's assumption of all the trappings of the celebrity culture in which it now existed...
